How a project runs.

No questionnaires, no onboarding decks, no Slack channels. We talk, we build, we adjust, we launch. Forty-eight hours start to finish, on both packages.

    Hour 0 · 15 minutes by phone

    You tell us about the business, the customer, the work. We listen more than we pitch. By the end of the call we both know if this is a fit.

  2. We build the demo.

    Hour 1–24

    Not a mockup. A working website, on the stack we'd launch on. You see exactly what you'd be going live with. No bait-and-switch.

  3. We refine it with you.

    Hour 24–36 · same call

    We walk the site together. You tell us what's working and what's not. Copy, photos, tone, structure. We map out exactly how it'll land. If it's a fit, you sign off and the plan begins right there. If it isn't, you walk away owing nothing.

  4. We launch.

    Hour 48 · live

    We make every change you asked for, walk you through the polished site one last time, then point your domain. Forty-eight hours, start to finish.

What does a website actually cost?
Starter is $800 one-time for the website build, then $15 a month for hosting, security, and support. Signature is $1,800 one-time (the same $800 build plus $1,000 for the full brand kit), with the same $15 a month ongoing. Either way, nothing is owed until you approve the demo.
What's covered by the monthly fee?
Hosting, SSL, backups, security patches, uptime monitoring, CMS access, and responsive support. The monthly rate is the same on both packages. The one-time build fee covers the website design and construction. On Signature, the additional one-time $1,000 covers the brand work: logo, brand kit, business cards, letterhead, and social templates. There are no hidden line items.
How fast will my site be ready?
Forty-eight hours, start to finish. Demo built within the first day, refined with you on the second, live on your domain by hour 48.
How many pages do I get?
Up to 10 unique pages are included in the build on both packages. That typically covers the essentials: home, about, services (or a few service pages), portfolio or gallery, testimonials, FAQ, contact, plus a couple of legal or utility pages. If you need more than 10 pages or anything outside the standard site scope, we quote that separately in writing before any work begins.
What do I need to provide?
A 15-minute conversation and, if you have them, any photos, existing branding, and a rough sense of what the site needs to do. If you don't have photos, we'll tell you what to take with your phone.
What if I don't like the demo?
You walk away owing nothing. No deposit, no invoice. We part as friends and you keep the demo link as a thank-you.
Is my site ready for search engines?
Yes. Every NorthStar site ships with technical SEO, schema markup, fast page loads, and accessibility standards built in from the first commit. The site is structured to rank. What happens next depends on your content and ongoing marketing.
Will my monthly rate ever change?
No. The rate locked at signup stays locked for the life of your plan. Future pricing may change for new clients, but existing clients are grandfathered in.
What counts as an included update?
Copy changes, photo swaps, pricing updates, new service pages, section rewrites, seasonal content. Anything that fits within the existing site structure. Large rebuilds and new functionality are quoted separately.
